Hard to say if this is Lost Memphis or Found Memphis. It was nothing for years, with an old PT Boat sitting out there. Then it was an airport, then nothing and then the River Museum. It seemed cool for awhile. There used to be a beautiful outdoor swimming pool that was open from April through September and a restaurant with a great view of the mighty Mississippi. The River Walk was cool - the Memphis Belle is gone, but the monorail is still there. (Memphis was even made famous in the scene from "The Firm" when Tom Cruise is running underneath the monorail to avoid his assasin.) But now....what is it except home to the few concerts that are held at the Mud Island Ampitheatre? Is it open?
